Ben Pensack
Co-Founder and CEO

Ben, a California attorney, earned a bachelor’s degree in pre-law from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He subsequently earned a law degree from Pepperdine University and upon passing the California Bar exam in 1999, immediately founded Pensack Sports. Ben has been an NBA-certified agent since 2000 and has negotiated a vast number of contracts with NBA and overseas teams. Through the years, Ben has developed extensive contacts with NBA scouts and general managers as well as high-level overseas team executives. It is in large part due to Ben’s hard work, diligence, and commitment to his clients that Pensack Sports has become a trusted and well-respected name in the sports agency business.

   
   

Adam Pensack
Co-Founder and President

Adam has been a key component of Pensack Sports since its inception. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from San Francisco State University. Adam is an NBA-certified agent who has personally helped players to get drafted in the first and second round of the NBA draft, and has developed a thorough understanding of athlete representation on an NBA and international level. Adam’s extensive network of contacts throughout the NBA and abroad, as well as his mastery of quantitative and statistical analysis, have proven to be invaluable assets that have significantly benefited Pensack Sports and its clients.

   

Philip Edwards
Vice President of Marketing

Philip leads all marketing initiatives at Pensack Sports. He earned a bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University where he began to hone his marketing skills. Since graduating from college Philip has held several positions with various companies where he led new business development initiatives, managed large sales teams, and developed and implemented numerous marketing and branding campaigns. Philip's experience in various industries has added a new dimension to Pensack Sports' marketing efforts and his presence has had a measurable impact on the success of Pensack Sports and its clients.

   

Michael Higgins
Owner and Founder of The Higgins Group

Pensack Sports Management Group is now working with The Higgins Group. Michael Higgins founded The Higgins Group and is one of the most experienced and successful basketball agents in the business. Michael earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and a law degree from Whittier College. Michael has been an NBA-certified agent since 1987 and has negotiated more than $650 million in total NBA player contracts. He has also represented more than 20 first round draft picks, including 13 lottery picks. Michael has experience operating several agencies in the past, including FAME, the agency that represented Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and many other NBA players. Michael has twice been named to the Sporting News "100 Most Powerful People in Sports." In 2008, Michael formed The Higgins Group, a boutique sports management company, which allowed him to commit himself fully to servicing the needs of a select group of clients.

 

Additionally, a team of support staff across various fields of expertise (e.g. marketing, tax preparation, financial planning, etc.) are also in place to assist Pensack Sports' clients and ensure that all of their needs are met. Current Professional Partners Include:
